Your hosts & animal friends
Dear guest, we are so happy that you have found us! To create a good first impression, we would like to introduce ourselves to you! Get to know the Lamprecht family:
Robert
Landlord and young farmer at Oberhof farm
... I love working in the forest with my "holzmaraklan", the freedom of paragliding and music. The latter is probably in the whole family’s blood (and the animals too).
Johanna
Landlady and organisational talent at Oberhof farm
... I love being around people! And I like working on the computer, baking cakes, hiking in our beautiful surroundings amongst nature and singing - all just as much!
Grandma Regina
A bundle of energy and the one with green fingers at Oberhof farm
... I love being in my garden and taking care of the flowers. But you are also just as likely to bump into me anywhere else on the farm, because I help out wherever I am needed.
Grandpa Hans (deceased 24.11.2021)
Winemaker and walking encyclopaedia at Oberhof farm
... one of my absolute passions? Wine production! I also take care of the cows in the barn and am always curious where our guests come from - my atlas helps me with that.
Lena (born in 2006)
One of the daughters at Oberhof farm
... Favourite pastime? Reading! And playing the clarinet!
Nadia (born in 2008)
One of the daughters at Oberhof farm
... I love horses and like playing music on my trumpet.
Heidi (born in 2009)
One of the daughters at Oberhof farm
... they call me the dreamer. Of course, I play an instrument too - the tenor horn!
A piece of farm history ...
The farm was built in 1329. Unfortunately, what happened in the centuries between that date and 1860 is unknown to us. In 1860, the farm was then bought by Jakob Lamprecht and since then has been owned by the Lamprecht family. Over the years, the farm has been resold, inherited, renovated and rebuilt from generation to generation. For me in-depth information, you can read the farm history on our farm map.

A great atmosphere
Oberhof farm includes 15 hectares of forest and 4 hectares of meadows. We have a small dairy farm of 15 dairy cows that will welcome you in a friendly and curious way. Bacon, wine, eggs, smoked meats, herbal salt, jams and syrups are all produced on the farm. But that is not all on offer - there is clucking, quacking and meowing: our animal residents consist of 20 chickens, 6 quails, 2 ducks, Friedl the farm dog and 6 cats - in particular Wuschel the tom cat, who loves to be stroked and steals every visitor’s heart!
